NEWS
25th of July 2020:
Can we politely remind all customers that viewings and visits to our workshop are strictly by appointment only.
This is a real life, living breathing workshop, not a TV show, where dangerous tasks are being carried out all day long, every day such as welding, grinding, moving of vehicles that have no mirrors and poor visibility in tight spaces, cables and air lines ran across the floor, slippery oil patches etc.
The safety of our staff and customers are our main priority along with the security and privacy of customers vehicles.
It’s also import to mention that our workshop is on private property and the owner of the land doesn’t want the general public just arriving and looking around the rest of their property.
We are always more than happy for customers to visit us to show us their car, discuss what work they want done and show them around our shop and progress on their car BUT only if they have a pre-arranged appointment.
Anyone who arrives out the blue without an appointment will unfortunately be politely be turned away and asked to come back at another time.
We thank you for your understanding.
20th of May 2020:
We have some exciting news for our shop. For a long time we have been running out of space and desperately trying to find a bigger shop to suit our needs. Well finally we have found somewhere on the outskirts of Chelmsford at a rural location and this week our move begins. The new shops location is roughly 30 miles away from the old one, but has a lot more space and also in a much more secure location well away from the general public.
So this week and next week we will be mostly closed while we move everything from our current shop over to our new shop. We will be keeping the same phone numbers even though we will be in a different area just to keep things simple and also so that our current customer database can just phone us on the numbers they have.
We won’t be advertising the complete address for the new site so that we can maintain the security of the site but of course when making an appointment to visit the shop or drop off/collect a vehicle we will give customers our full address and directions to the shop.
Also as mentioned in the past, we don't get much time to update this web-site anymore but we are constantly updated our facebook page as it can be done from a smart phone.
Many thanks for everyone’s support over the years and we look forward to seeing you in the future.
Chris and the team at Back To Life Cars.

As these reviews were very important to us we would kindly ask any of our previous customers who read this message and left a review in the past to please leave another review.
